
GUIDELINES
The government has approved a $3 million support scheme for dairy farmers financially impacted by the failure of Beston Global Foods Company and its subsidiaries, to be administered by the SA Dairyfarmers’ Association (SADA) with the support of the South Australian Government Financing Authority (SAFA). SADA has established a Memorandum of Understanding with the government which will allow SADA to assist eligible unsecured dairy farmer creditors in accessing this grant program.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible, unsecured dairy farmer creditors as identified by the Administrators of Beston Pure Dairies should:
- Provide details of the business entity including:
- Evidence that the business is registered with the Australian Taxation Office and
- Has an Australian Business Number (ABN) that was registered as at 20 September 2024
- and is registered for GST.
- Evidence that the business is located in South Australia.
- Provide a Proof of Debt as had been required by the administrator.
- Submit a plan outlining how they intend to utilise the grant funding to reestablish or grow their business.
- Be prepared to sign a grant agreement with the South Australian Government Financing Authority.
- Make submissions as soon as possible and prior to 31 May 2025.
Assessment will be made following the receipt of all submissions to the scheme.
AMOUNTS
Successful applicants must be able to declare their credited amount claimed as at 20 September 2024.
Your funds will be calculated on a Pro Rata amount of 25c to the dollar.
