2018 Churchill Fellowships
Every year around 100 Australians are awarded a Churchill Fellowship.
These Fellowships offer people from all walks of life the chance to travel independently anywhere in the world to explore a topic or issue of their choice, which they are passionate about and that will benefit their industry, profession or community on a local, regional and/or national level. Importantly, applicants do not need any specific qualifications to apply, and there is considerable flexibility in terms of timing and duration, to suit individual needs.
In 2018, the Churchill Trust is making a concerted effort to encourage more applications from rural and regional Australia. As part of this effort, an expanded program of Information Sessions is being held in sixteen regional centres, including Mt Gambier on Monday, February 19. A significant number of sponsored Churchill Fellowships are also being offered, including a fellowship specifically for the dairy industry.
We would like to invite you to attend the Mt Gambier event and find out more. We also extend a broader invitation to local dairy farmers and people in your networks to attend, and we hope that you will help us to spread the word by sharing this email and the attached flyer.
