Minimum Engagement - Labour Hire - ATO

There has been an amendment to the Pastoral Award’s Provisions for the minimum engagement period for part time and casual dairy employees. New legislation is now in effect regarding employers who engage labour hire. From 1 July 2018 there is an increase to the Employer Superannuation Contribution and businesses with 20 or more employees will use a “Single Touch Payroll” system.
